Walk for Team Hope

August 4, 2010

Huntington’s Disease is a hereditary neurological brain disorder that slowly robs the affected individual of the ability to walk, talk, think and reason. HD affects over 30,000 Americans and places more than 200,000 “at risk” for developing the disorder. In Northern California it is estimated that at least 1,300 individuals are affected with more than an additional 6,500 at risk.

On Sunday, August 8 you and your family have the opportunity to support the Huntington’s Disease Society of America and their pursuit to find a cure for HD. Registration for the Walk for Team Hope begins at 9AM with the walk starting at 10AM. The walk takes place at William Land Park and the cost for participation is *FREE*! Raise as much as you can and bring your donations. All participants also receive a *FREE* t-shirt.

William Land Park is located at 3800 South Land Park Drive and for more information click HERE or call 916.927.4400.

We’ll see you there!
