Martin Luther King, Jr. Day
Commemorate Martin Luther King, Jr. Day at the Crocker with inspirational tours based on King’s teachings at 10:30AM, 12:30PM, and 2:30PM; gospel music performances by Cosumnes River College Contemporary Gospel Choir at 11AM and 1PM; screenings of “Martin Luther King: Legacy of a Dream” at 12PM and 2PM; and at 10:30AM, 12PM, and 1:30PM, a reading of Faith Ringgold’s “My Dream of Martin Luther King” followed by a hands-on art making project. The museum is open until 5PM. *FREE* with admission.
