Who is East Sac Mom?
We are teachers, valets, chefs, nutritionists, coaches, accountants, personal assistants, jungle gyms, counselors and the worlds best listeners. In other words, we’re moms.
May is a teacher by trade who lives for summer vacation, holds a Fairy Tale Town season pass, is the ultimate go-to gal for information from both sides of the latest “hot topics” and can put all of her friends to shame on the dance floor.
June is a Carmichael native and East Sacramento transplant, the “Martha Stewart” of her circle of friends and a cloth-diapering and make-your-own-organic-baby-food mom who also has a full-time day job in the financial industry.
Amanda is our resident expert on all things local and healthy. She authors a column for East Sacramento Mom with family friendly recipes using locally grown and seasonal ingredients. She can be found blogging at Urban Almanac and when Amanda is not behind a keyboard she teaches classes at It’s All Yoga and spends time with her two children gardening, crafting, sewing and biking.
Courtney, realtor extraordinaire, brings us the dish on current home sales, East Sacramento market trends, and DIY tips and tricks to improve our curb appeal and home value. Courtney is an East Sacramento soccer mom (okay, team parent) who has also been known to ride her cruiser around the neighborhood. Check out her website and blog, A Better “Way” to Real Estate.
Paige and Jessica are the East Sacramento Moms behind our local KidzArt. As the mothers of infants and toddlers, they share monthly suggestions on how to engage your kids in the art of being creative, thinking outside of the crayon and coloring book box. Paige and Jessica are here to help us inspire creativity and do a great job!
