Happy Friday East Sac Mamas! Did anyone else need the rest of the week to recover from Monday’s festivities? Thanks to ESM reader, Kati for sharing that Sacramento Scoop’s recap images HERE. Now that we’re all rested up, what do you and your families have planned for the weekend? We have a few suggestions, if you need some inspiration…
- Of course, this weekend is Second Saturday. Get out and take in some local art and culture. We take our toddler to Second Saturday regularly and love the *FREE* family fun! Be sure to treat yourself to something cold at Ginger Elizabeth.
- The National Train Show is this weekend at the Convention Center. Have a little one into Thomas the Tank Engine? You won’t want to miss exposing them to an array of train history, technology and more.
- On Sundays in July, Fairytale Town has a children’s concert series. This weekend features Francie Dillon and the concert is *FREE* with admission.
We’ll see you there!

Woods is in recovery in more ways than one. It starts by explaining the importance of
asking permission and respecting. This feeling is magnified even more when players
glance at the medals hung around their necks and trophies given to
them and seeing their name so clearly and elaborately engraved on
metal – making the achievement more permanent and infinitely theirs.
