Autism Speaks at Fairytale Town

by

Autism Speaks is partnering with Fairytale Town to spread awareness about autism. Did you know that 1 in 110 children (and 1 in 70 boys) are affected by this mysterious condition? Chances are good you know a family dealing with autism.

Take some time on Saturday, April 24 to learn more about autism, family services, advocacy, research and local resources, and enjoy family entertainment while you’re at it. Michael Chez, M.D., the Director of Pediatric Neurology at Sutter Neuroscience Institute, will present “Screening for Autism,” providing information for parents about the signs and symptoms of autism, early screening, diagnosis and treatment.

Tickets to this event are $5 and available by emailing mcamp49@aol.com. Autism Awareness Day at Fairytale Town will take place from 10AM to 4PM and for more information call 916.808.7462.

Fairytale Town is located at 3901 Land Park Drive.

We’ll see you there!
