March Second Saturday Art Walk

I realize it is Monday but can you blame me for already looking ahead to the weekend? This Saturday, March 13th is the Sacramento Second Saturday Art Walk throughout midtown and downtown (actually, extending all the way to East Sacramento to Fe Gallery.) My honey and I did end up making it to last month’s Second Saturday with our 1-year-old and while it seemed a little “light” on the vendors and exhibits, it was still a nice evening wandering around J Street.

Care to do a little wandering yourself? Begin your art walk at the Crocker Art Museum at their Second Saturday for Families event from 12-3PM. Using simple printmaking techniques and your imagination, discover how opposites, such as positive and negative space, produce captivating artwork. Activities are *FREE* with admission.

For more information about Second Saturday galleries and events click here. For more information about the Crocker Art Museum’s Second Saturday for Families click here or call 916.808.1961.

We’ll see you there!

What do you think about Second Saturday? Fun and interesting? Or lame and overrated?
