“Going Green” Exhibit at the Cal Auto Museum

by

Even at only a year old my little guy loves driving his cars throughout the house. He even makes the engine noises as he speeds (crawls) from the kitchen, through the living room and on to his bedroom. I can imagine in another year or two he is going to be interested in the “big” cars.

If you have a little one who is into cars check out the California Automobile Museum and their “It’s Cool for the Planet” exhibit.

The exhibit showcases a range of vehicles that span the turn of the 20th century to the early years of the 21st century, including prototype experimental vehicles that have helped develop hydrogen fuel cells, as well as electric plug-in technology.

Why not use your child’s love of automobiles to teach them about energy efficiency and environmental responsibility? It’s a win-win as far as I’m concerned.

The California Automobile Museum is located at 2200 Front Street in Old Sacramento and is open daily from 10AM-6PM. General admission is $8, seniors (65 and over) are $7, students (with student ID) are $4 and ages under 5 are *FREE*.

We’ll see you there!
