Happy New Year! We hope you enjoyed a safe and festive New Years Eve celebration with your families. These East Sac Moms enjoyed dinner at Mikuni followed by dancing at Parlare. We aren’t afraid to admit that we were home before the ball dropped– but it was nice to get dressed up and go out.
We are excited about the new year and new things to come for East Sacramento Mom. More to come on that! Back to bringing you *FREE* (or cheap) family fun ideas in the East Sacramento area.
We do realize that our reader base with teenagers is far smaller than our reader base with children under 5, but we still want to bring you a few fun and *FREE* (or cheap) teen and preteen activities. Plus we feel it is important to support and promote our local libraries as best as we can.
The Friends of McKinley Library is hosting a Manga Mania program on Thursday, January 7th where teens (or tweens) are invited to hang out and discuss their favorite manga (Japanese comics and cartoons), eat Japanese snacks and make cool manga-inspired stuff!
We’ll see you there!
We want to know, what ages are your children? Leave us a comment here or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
