Halloween Week: Part 2

Day two of ESM’s Halloween Week brings us out and about to tour midtown business for tricks and treats! On Saturday, October 31st you and your children can participate in the Midtown Halloween Trick-or-Treat Walk between 11AM and 3PM.

Throughout the day bring your kids in costume to businesses in the Capitol Avenue/J Street corridor between 16th and 27th Streets– participating businesses will have a poster near the front door– to collect candy and participate in fun kid-centered activities.

To help with the crash after the sugar rush there are two “rest stops”: one at Relles Florist at 24th and J Streets and the other in the courtyard at 1801 L Street.

ESM note: There will be a parking “freeze” (free parking at meter spaces/no time limit enforcement) in Midtown from I Street thru Capitol Avenue, and from 16th to 29th Streets. Additionally, port-a-potties will be available.

Are you planning to visit some of the businesses for some early tricks or treats with your kids? Take some pictures and submit them along with your “Real Mom Review” at eastsacmom@gmail.com.

We’ll see you there!
