Childrens Book Nook at the Crocker Art Museum

“Fire your child’s imagination with clever stories and illustrations during the Children’s Book Nook for ages 4-6. Enjoy a reading of San Francisco author and illustrator Peter Holwitz’s book, Stick Kid. Combine illustrations and words to create your own story during a hands-on art workshop. The program will be sign language interpreted.”

Your 4-6 year old will have a ball at the Crocker’s Book Nook on October 13th! We realize school is back in session and 10AM on a Tuesday may not work for you, but for many East Sacramento Moms who home school, have a little one who isn’t quite in kindergarten yet, or who is out of class by that time, 10AM on a Tuesday works just fine. Be sure to add the Book Nook to your family calendar. Your kiddo will thank you!

The Crocker Art Museum is located at 216 O Street in downtown Sacramento. For more information click here or call 916.808.5499.

If you can’t make it to the Book Nook, maybe you can still enjoy some family fun at the Crocker Art Museum on Saturday, October 10th at Second Saturday for Families. Sacramento’s Downtown Second Saturday can be a family activity but for those with younger children who may go to bed shortly after the Second Saturday festivities begin it may not be conducive to a positive experience for all. The Crocker’s Second Saturday for Families is the perfect solution! Running from 12-3PM the second Saturday of each month, Second Saturday for Families offers family activities and a fun theme– lots of ways to engage your children in the arts.

For more information click here or call 916.808.5499.

We’ll see you there!

P.S. Check back tomorrow for our October giveaway. We have FOUR prizes to give away to our readers and you will not want to miss the awesome event they’ll get you in to!
