Sacramento Greek Festival

I think I’ve mentioned before that this East Sac Mom has lived in other parts of the United States and one of the things I missed most was the diversity we have here in Sacramento. The Sacramento Greek Festival is one of the many ways you can immerse yourself (and your families) into another culture.

Presented by the Sacramento Greek Orthodox Church of the Annunciation, the Greek Festival takes place at the Sacramento Convention Center September 4-6. Friday the festival is open 11AM-11PM, Saturday 12-11PM and Sunday 12-10PM. Treat yourself to authentic Greek food, music and dancing, cooking demonstrations, cultural displays and more. Click here for the weekend’s schedule of events.

Admission for adults is $5 but you can click here to get a $2 off coupon! Seniors are $4 and children under 12 are *FREE*. Better yet, if you show up on Friday, September 4th from 11AM-3PM, admission for the whole family is *FREE*!

Plan an outing with your family and friends and use that $2 we saved you (clicking on the link above) to treat yourself to a glass of Greek wine. This mom knows first hand… sometimes you just need it.

We’ll see you there!
